2.4 方法
創建這個模型的方法是FRBR中採用的實體分析技術。這個概念模型的發展包含以下幾步：
〈1〉既從用戶任務也從特定領域的用戶感興趣的關鍵對象出發分析構建。
〈2〉關注點並不在個人數據上，而是在數據描述的事物上。為模型創建的每個實體或屬性的對象在數據集中作為關鍵點提供服務。
〈3〉在更高一點的層次上，一個實體圖描述的是存在於一個實體類型和另一個實體類型之間正常存在的關係。
〈4〉每個實體的重要特徵或屬性將被標識。
〈5〉每一個屬性和關係都能映射為用戶任務。關聯值的權重被賦予每個屬性和具體任務的特定參考以及用戶感興趣的對象實體。
Method
The method used to build this conceptual model is the entity analysis technique used in
FRBR. The development of such a conceptual model consists of the following steps15:
1) The analysis starts with the user tasks as well as the key objects that are of
interest to users in a specific domain.
2) The attention is not on individual data but on the “things” the data describe. Each
of the objects of interest or entities defined for the model serves as the focal
point for a cluster of data.
3) At a higher level, an entity diagram depicts the relationships that normally hold
between one type of entity and another type of entity.
4) Important characteristics or attributes of each entity are then identified.
5) Each attribute and relationship is mapped to the user tasks. Relative values of
importance are assigned to each attribute and relationship with specific reference
to the task performed and the entity that is the object of the user’s interest.

RDA的目的：

The data created using RDA to describe a resource are designed to assist users
performing the following tasks:1

resources with similar characteristics
select—i.e., to select a resource that is appropriate to the user’s

obtain—i.e., to acquire or access the resource described.

國際編目原則聲明：製作編目規則時的原則

若干原則指導編目規則的制訂工作。其昀高原則是用戶的便利性。
2.1. 用戶的便利性。在對著錄以及用以檢索的名稱的受控形式作出抉擇時應該考慮到用戶。
2.2. 通用性。在著錄與檢索中使用的辭彙應與大多數用戶所用的辭彙相一致。
2.3. 表達性。著錄以及名稱的受控形式應按實體說明其本身的方式來確定。
2.4. 准確性。應如實說明被著錄的實體。
2.5. 充分性與必備性。只應包含那些在著錄以及用以檢索的名稱的受控形式中對完成用戶工作所必需
的,以及對唯一識別某一實體所必不可缺的資料單元。
2.6. 有意義。資料單元應具有目錄學意義。
2.7. 經濟性。當達到某一目標存在多種途徑時,應選取整體經濟性昀佳的途徑(即費用昀少或方法昀
簡單)
2.8. 一致性與標准化。應盡可能實現著錄與確立檢索點工作的標准化。這樣能夠取得更大的一致性,
從而提高共用書目資料與規格資料的能力。
2.9. 集成化。各類文獻的著錄以及各類實體名稱的受控形式應在適用範圍內基於一套共衕的規則。
編目規則中的規定應具備可論證性而非隨意性。人們認識到,有時這些原則在特殊情況下可能會互相
矛盾,應當釆取可論證的、實用的解決方法。
